Food, fashion, home, and craftsmanship take center stage at BÚTLAK: The 40th Negros Trade Fair, organized in partnership with SM for MSMEs to bring homegrown businesses closer to more customers and opportunities at the SMX Convention Center Aura from September 22 to 27, 2026.


As the country’s longest-running provincial trade fair, this milestone edition honors a rich legacy while giving Negrense creativity a contemporary spin. Here are 7 reasons why this year's event deserves a spot on your calendar:

More than 115 Negrense entrepreneurs are filling 178 booths with the best of the island, ranging from beloved food and fashion to handcrafted furniture, home accents, and art.

Food is a primary highlight of the fair, featuring iconic treats and culinary staples:

  • 21 Restaurant: Serving Signature Batchoy, Spanish-style Boquerones, and Lola Nitang's Bibingka.


  • Quan Delicacies: Offering classic kakanin, napoleones, chicken pie, Frozen Cansi, Puto Sorbetes, and Batuan Focaccia.


  • Sir and Ma'am Restaurant: Bringing heirloom Morcon dating back to 1962.


  • Casa Carmela: Showcasing small-batch Negrense dishes and pantry staples.

Traditional craftsmanship is reimagined into contemporary wardrobes through initiatives like Tia Lacson The Label’s Medina Collection, Ellege Handcrafted Fashion's hand-smocking designs, and Arête's handcrafted island accessories.

Five product specialists from the Design Center of the Philippines collaborated directly with ANP makers to develop fresh, market-ready collections and 2026 Bulawan Award pieces debuting exclusively at the fair.

The event features unique finds, including Rensel's crispy Sarisa Chips made from fruit-stripped trees, Lutak Art Sculptures by Ramon De los Santos, and intricate mosaic art by the NVC Foundation crafted from recycled Nespresso capsules and broken tiles.
